Sometimes I wish I hadn't seen Battlestar Galactica so that I could get obsessed with it all over again. =P
Oh well, I'll just have to get hooked to yet more Doctor Who! Oh wait, we're not going to have more until the end of the year! That's going to suck!
Oh wait...Game of Thrones starts again on April 1st! Anyone watch that show? :-D

Just jumping in randomly here, but hello everyone! I found this place from the NaNo thread, and I'm very happy it exists. Proboards is, uh, a VERY old friend lol, an understatement, and the NaNo thread is annoying to get to. I'm also on Twitter (@hayleequarles) so you know... Keeping in touch all over the place! I'm 14, a freshman in high school, and this is my second wrimo adventure. NaNoWriMo '11 was an epic fail- I struggled to get 21,700 something words at the end of the month, but I think it's because I had already based the plot off of (coincidentally) a proboards role play like forum I run. Because I knew the ending, I was bored, and fitting characters that wanted to go their own way into a plot was too difficult. This year, however, during March I'm doing a lot better with no plot or even character names yet, and a wonderful base of people slaving at it with me! ;D So to end the rant, hi! Nice meeting you all!

Hi! Glad you're here. ^^ Yeah, it's boring to write something which you already know inside out. :-D NaNo is all about the wild ride you go through in getting to the end!
---
Yeah, I watch a lot of science fiction shows, and...almost nothing else. Doctor Who is not everyone's cup of tea, but it's one of those shows where you either love it or you hate it. :-D BSG too. You'll either hate it, or you'll be glued to the entire thing until you've gotten to the end.

Welcome Haylee! Glad you could make it here! We've got a challenge planned for tomorrow! Agent, I watch a lot of girly shows haha. But I'm proud of that ^_^

Ha ha! I don't watch girly shows...but I watch a lot of romantic comedies, when it comes to movies. ^^ Yeah, I have kind of an eclectic taste. Either it's 100% girly, or it's all robots and time travel and explosions. XD There's this strange dichotomy...I only watch the girly stuff at night, to fall asleep. During the day, I like me some SF & action! ^^

That's my life ^_^ I'm into tv-shows like 90210, Gossip Girl, Glee etc. and romantic comedies, but action and fight movies and stuff as well. But it's the same with my hobbies and stuff. I'm a horsey girl -come on, you think you can barely get more girly than that-, but I'm really into soccer as well. Going to games I have guys being afraid of me. Thát's how enthousiastic I get. I like speed and shiny cars and I actually like it better to hang with guys, except for a couple girl friends hahaha.

Haha! I totally get it. I think I am probably the only person on the planet who listens to Iron Maiden while reading romances (albeit only by one author, as in general I don't read romance.) xD Yeah, I'll watch something sappy, and then turn on some death metal. Or I'll watch something with lots of blood and explosions, and then break it up by watching something frivolous like Supernanny. xD
I'm not really into either cars or sports...but then, I was always the worst at sports, and I was the one who was always picked last. As for cars, they...have four wheels, right? xD
However, I am completely in love with electronics and computers. I don't buy clothes. I go into an electronics store, and start drooling! :-D And I'm a huge fan of Apple products. xD

Oh I hate shopping. Though I like to dress up and everything. Just the dragging around all those shops and try everything on is killing for me!
And I know it's not Iron Maiden or total death metal, but as a teenager -oh dear I feel so old, wish I was 18 again! And I'm only 24 hahaha- I was really into the early Linkin Park an Limp Bizkit etc.. So on crudty days I put on Break Stuff by Limp Bizkit and scream my lungs out and after that I'll put my beloved Birdy CD on to get into the right mood for writing ^_^

Oh god, trying stuff on is the worst! Nothing. Fits. Me. I sometimes wish I was skinny, so that I could wear the clothes I actually like. I can't, though, because none of it looks good on me. =P
Oh, I totally understand that feeling! :-D Doesn't have to be with metal. I'm 24 too. XD My musical taste has shifted since I was 18, and there are times when I hear a song that I would have hated now, but which I remember liking when I was 18, and it just takes me back. :-D I was never that much into Limp Bizkit, but I loved Linkin Park! Er...old Linkin Park, that is, Meteora and Hybrid Theory...not this modern Minutes to Midnight and A Thousand Suns pop music crap that they have going now. =P
Man, every time I hear Breaking the Habit, it totally takes me back to when I was young and innocent. XD
*nostalgia*

Hihi, I still like hearing loads of songs from when I was a teenager! And yeah that Linkin Park. I lived on Hybrid Theory. Did have Meteora, but it was already not that good as Hybrid Theory -in my opinion that is-
But I had this 'dark' period haha. But crazy me was into stuff like that but into HipHop as well. Limp Bizkit was a bit of both, but I was into Eminem and stuff as well. In both genres the music hasn't been like they used to make it back then ^_^
Today I found a pic of me when I was 9 years old (1997) totally dressed as Mel C, Sporty Spice. I was sooooo into the Spice Girls, before I went dark whahaha

Ahahaa! Nice! I was never into the Spice Girls or Eminem much, but I liked the Backstreet Boys. Ha ha, I remember when I was 10, it was a huge War. Capital W, yes! Three factions: those who swore by the Backstreet Boys, and vociferously proclaimed that N*Sync sang like women, those who hated the Backstreet Boys and loved N*Sync, and a third who liked both, and thought that the other two factions were insane. XD
Aaah, 10 year old politics. ^^)
There's nothing half so interesting these days. Now everyone just likes the Bieber brat (barf/shudder >.>)! At least the Backstreet Boys could sing! I mean, I don't like them so much nowadays...never listen to them anymore...but it was still actual music. The Bieber brat can't sing AT ALL. It's all Lady Gaga and Beyonce and Adele these days...I tell you, pop music has gone down the drain! (Iffy...I dunno. I can't stand any of them, but maybe that's just my opinion. A lot of people seem to like Adele.)
(Lol in my opinion, Linkin Park went upside-down exponential curve downhill after Meteora. M2M was only okay, and A Thousand Suns sucks!)

Oeh, Backstreet Boys and N*Sync haha, but weren't they a couple of years later? Or was I just not interested in boys that much yet? Whaha. But I preferred 5ive, but they were British, so I'm not sure if you knew them in America. But they were sooooo much cooler than the Backstreet Boys and N*Sync combined ^_^
And yeah, politics were already hard in that age!
Hmmm, when I pull out old cd's I find really crappy pop songs back then as well. I mean do you remember Toybox and the Vengaboys? And Britney Spears is the most crappy singer ever and even while -as a singer- I admire Christina Aguilera, her first album was crud as well ^_^ And I think Adele is great, but Lady Gaga is only doing it to get attention. Beyonce has gone down the drain, at least Destiny's Child was great and look at what she's doing now -except for a nice song every now and then-. Ah well - I like a lot of British artists as well. Not sure if you even know them over there.
