In the countdown thread Agent Double Oh Zero mentioned her being on Twitter and I decided to start a new account on which I will tweet in English on my writing progress.
So anyone else tweeting over here? Might be a nice way to keep eachother on track as well!

@bobo_The_Bard - I don't tweet AT ALL. My account was all but dead. XD However, a bunch of people from the Big Fun Scary thread on the NaNo site are all having a #MarNoWriMo Twitter party, so I'll just be posting a bunch of writing-related tweets in March. =P

Ah is there a Twitter party on NaNo's behalf as well? Saw someone following me who I didn't recognise from this board, guess she saw my #MarNoWriMo tweet then

Yes, that's probably it. A bunch of the NaNo people started following me also, as soon as they saw the #MarNoWriMo tag. You can always just check the BFS thread. Most of them put their twitter names up there, so you should be able to put a name to the...name. xD

Can't they join us here? I like NaNoWriMo, but i hate the forum board it uses!

I'm there JezzyHatesJazz(I've been trying not to follow so many people lately, though, since my timeline gets cluttered...)

Ah, know the feeling my mainstream (Dutch) twitter account is totally cluttered ^_^ It's kind of relaxing to have a quiet one as well. See how long it takes haha.

Yeah, my account's pretty quiet, but let's see how many start following! I only have like 7 followers, but I'm already hopelessly confused on how to find and continue conversations. XD I might have to unfollow some things that are purely personal, and move them to another personal account, so that I only see writing stuff on @bobothebard. :-)
Well, I did actually mention this site on every. single. MarchNo. thread I found over on the NaNo site, and actually, a few people did join here...but a few others saw it during the time when it was dead, and decided not to. I honestly prefer having a full-blown forum as opposed to just a single thread, but...others actually prefer the NaNo site. Beats me why. I mean, I absolutely love the NaNo site...during NaNo. I also love it for actually finding out about new writing challenges, and for inspiration, but for separate challenges, I like separate sites. Just the one thread on NaNo means that there's no real place to put down goals, and to have one on one conversations, without it getting hopelessly cluttered. Either that, or no one posts, everyone does their own challenge alone, and the thread goes dead.
Anyway, that's why I'm just lurking around all the sites. =P XD

NaNo site -especially during November- is way too much for me! I try to check some of the threads regularly, but I keep losing them...

Yeah, the NaNo site can get daunting. In some ways, having a very few members is good, because it's possible to have one-on-one conversations. The crowd on the NaNo site in November, and the speed, makes it overwhelming.

Yeah, though it is really quiet on this board, I still like it better than an overload like that. I like to be able to overview it all ^_~

Yeah, I like seeing everything that's going on. I think I just have an issue with Twitter. My brain can't handle it. It's too confusing! =P
As for this board, it's quiet, but just at the right level. I mean, I wouldn't mind if it was louder, but that'd mean that I'd be here all day on the board, instead of writing or plotting! xD

I'm also on Twitter, but I rarely tweet. Heck, I don't even check it all that often. My main account over there is AmyPReed just like here. LOL Oh, and I forgot last month that FebNo has it's own Twitter account as well. *head-desk (multiple times)*
During NaNo, I love hanging out on the boards, though mainly I'm at my local board, seeing how the folks in my area are doing. Now and then I'll check one or more of the other NaNo boards, but that's not often.
During the rest of the year, I prefer being on the separate boards. I've tried being on the WriYe board as well as the other year round forums. I've even hung out at Crazy Club, but it just doesn't have the same feel to me as the individual forums do.

Found you!
I'm mainly on the regional board as well, during NaNo. Though it's not that busy in our region. And it's totally death after NaNo.
Crazy Club is totally dead, isn't it? Used to come there every now and then as well.
