Hi guys, for some of you the Wacky Weekend challenge is still running. For me it's been over for almost three hours and I'm going to put that very cheery guy in my sig now!
But being unable to sleep I went over a schedule for other challenges over the month. Unfortunately I'm still the only mod that reported back to the board this year and since I tend to forget -like- everything, it would be nice to have a little help.
So what would you like to see on the challenge board. WriDay's? Midweek challenges?
I'll be putting up a Wacky Weekend challenge for every weekend. We've got a full moon coming up next week and I've got some ideas for the week after that. But especially after March 18th I've kind of run out of special dates. Ideas anyone?
And maybe there's someone who just thinks it's fun to help me start the threads, look for funny smileys as rewards, whatever. Let me know -here or by dm- Being a mod myself I won't be able to make anyone mod, but I'd appreciate your help a lot! And so would the other WriMo's ^_^

Oh goodness, I don't know why I only now saw this thread. And usually I haunt the place! Anyway, I would like to help. :-)

Sorry! I've been crazy busy so far this month - crappy reason not to check in. I'm here and ready to be challenged I personally love weekend, full moon, and random holiday or strange day sprints. Like pi day. 5k days are great - impossible most of the time, but fun to try for! Anyone else inspired by certain types of challenges??

Pi Day sounds good. Maybe something for St. Patrick's Day? I don't know any random holidays, but random spur-of-the-moment challenges on just any day would be good too. :-D

How about a reading and writing challenge for St. Patrick's day or some other day of next week possibly.

Hehehe I like that. Read 317 pages. I'd add read 317 pages of your novel and see if it makes sense. I could use some of that Maybe I should find an empty room and read it aloud. I've heard that helps... Someone I know acts out the actions scenes. I don't know how. Do they only have one person there? Or does the furniture act as characters? LOL You- chair - You are character 1. Emote this sentence please. Now throw the lamp at me. Good, good. Chair 2, duck! Okay, I have no idea how to act the parts out. But I can read

Ha ha, I don't act out the action sequences. At least in the book I'm reading, they are too epic and dangerous! XD
Lol, now I want to write a real action sequence like that. At least, I think that technique might work very well for writing action sequences. XD

XD Maybe she writes romances and uses a pillow for the kissing scenes LOL I have the 3/14 (Pi = 3.14) Challenge up and ready now. I might change my pie though. I hate making that one and I plan on winning!
