Q 1) What's MarchNoWriMo? It sounds like gibberish.
A 1) MarchNoWriMo is March Novel Writing Month. Between 12:01 AM March 1 until 11:59 PM March 31st you write a novel.
Q 2) So, you're like NaNoWriMo then?
A 2) MarNoWriMo was inspired by NaNoWriMo, but the Office of Letters and Light is not a part of this one.
Q 3) Can I write more than one novel?
A 3) Yes, you can.
Q 4) Can I set my own goals
A 4) Yes, and if you meet your goal and wish to do so, you can increase it. You can also lower it as well, however all goals will be locked in by the 20th of March
Q 5) Can I bring my pets?
A 5) LOL If they can fit through the modem.
Q 6) How do you know I've won?
A 6) Verification guidelines will be up later in the month.
Q 7) Will you read my work?
A 7) This will be answered in the Verification Guidelines, which will be up later in the month
Q 8) How often does this run?
A 8) MarNoWriMo is once a year, but some of the staff will be around all year.
Q 9) What happens if I swear?
A 9) Please refer to the Rules on what will happen.
Q 10) What content can I post on here?
A 10) Pretty much anything you like, as long as it's legal, and you either have the copyright or the copyright holder's written permission.However, since there are under age members, adult content will not be allowed. Porn will result in a immediate banning
Q 11) Can anyone see what I post?
A 11) Most of the boards are viewable by the public, meaning non-members, however there is at least one board that is closed to non-members in order to protect you and your work.
Q 12) Can I get banned?
A 12) Yes. If you break the rules and ignore the warnings, you risk being banned from the site.
Q 13) Do I get anything if I win?
Yes, the satisfaction knowing you wrote a novel in a month. A And we'll also be giving out nice virtual graphic badges and things like that to the winners.
Q 14) Can I write fanfiction?
Yes. Fanfiction is allowed, as is school work, essays and the like. Sorry, you can't claim your math homework as well.

Q) How can I become a moderator?
A) A selection of moderators will be chosen each year by the administrator, Mars.
Q) What happens to the moderators after MarNo is over?
A) Each moderator is removed from their position in January of the following year, and must go through the process again to become a moderator. However, this can change depending on circumstances.
Q) What is the process to become a moderator?
A) You must submit your application to Mars before February 20th. More details will be given as January approaches. Moderators will be chosen on the 22nd.
Q) What do moderators do?
A) They simply help manage the forum, create skins for it, and make sure that everything runs smoothly
Q) Are there moderators for the chat as well?
A) Ask Louisa. (lpcoolgirl)
