Hey :] I'm Smash, I'm 23 and this is my first NoWriMo. I'm working on the first novel to a series - they characters have kind of been rolling around in my brain for at least a year, begging me to tell their stories so I'm obliging (i sound schizophrenic, don't I?). It's a paranormal/romance/mystery kind of all rolled into one.
Anyway, 75K words this month :] Nice to meet you all.

Welcome smash! Good luck on writing 75k. Sounds a lot for a first WriMo, though I don't know how much writing experience you have outside of these. But like mars says, heaps of fun!! ^_^

RJA: I pretty much grew up writing stories on anything I could get my hands on.. in middle school and through HS my best friend & I used to buy 5 subject notebooks (the really big thick ones) and write for hours, and switch every hour to read & edit each other's writing... so I have some writing experience. a little.
but I'd planned on writing less - until I worked up an outline & list of scenes I feel the story need and got all of my plot points. I know it's ambitious, but I have my fingers crossed. :] :] :]

Smash - 75k can be done even by us ordinary mortals who aren't lpcoolgirl Who is already over 50k... There's an important piece of advice everyone needs to know for Wrimos, which is this: WRITE IT ANYWAY! Even if you think it's rubbish, just write. You can fix it later, but not if you don't write it in the first place.

*waves to everyone* Siana, I totally agree. Get the words down. They get all lost otherwise.

Hi everybody, I am Yorgos from Greece. I am making short films and I want to complete a feature length scipt I am writing for some time. I will go for 5000 words the remaining 10 days of the month which I believe will have me completed it. Please feel free to contact me and stretch me. Also accept my apologies beforehand for any inconvenience my inexperience in forums may cause. Salutes Yo

Hey Yorgos! Don't worry about problems-if anything happens, me or the other mods will let you know. We're fairly lax on rules around here, all but the one invovling porn

Thank you everybody for your wishes. The truth is that although March 25th is my nominal birthday which I use for official reasons it is not my real one which is one month later. To cut a long story short how this came to be... I would have to write a short story. Still it was very sweet of you to think of me. Yo

Perhaps you should write that short story then. You're making me curious
