I've just watched Muppet version of Bohemian Rhapsody, lol, gotta show this to my GF, me being a huge Queen fan;) Completely agree with you Siana, this is a brilliant and very moving piece of songwriting, obviously ranks among Queen & Freddie's best. Earlier in the day I was listening to The Beatles and Florence & The Machine while drawing. I guess F&TM wouldnt be very good as a backround for writing, unless you arent bothered by this kind of vocally expressive music. Come to think of it, I cant imagine listening to Bohemian Rhapsody while writing, too.

I do listen to a lot of music with vocals while writing, but actually, Bohemian Rhapsody isn't on my writing playlist. I tend to listen to the same album over and over while writing, and I'd rapidly get sick of that song. XD But then, I'm a strange person who can't work with silence, or soft music. I have to have really loud music, so that I don't distract myself.
Chimaira - Resurrection. (I think I'm in love. XD <3)

Haha, I'm exact opposite! When it comes to writing, any loud music drive me nuts, really. Metal sounds like noise, hard rock too, even most rock and pop... Songs tend to distract me since I try to enjoy them (if I'm able) and listen to words instead of doing my work. I can only stand selected ambient, atmospheric, electronical or classical music. Anything over-expressive or bombastic is out of question, even orchestral music like Wagner, Beethoven, Mozart etc. So often it's just "music of my thoughs"... enhanced by this priceless, amazing duo - THE EARPLUGS <- couldn't live without them . So right now, I'm writing with Vangelis' "Apocalypse des animaux".

Ha! Yeah, so then I'm about as opposite as it gets! I have to have my death metal while writing. XD
Oh, I love my headphones. My speakers are horrible, but having a good pair of headphones with quality sound is invaluable!
Procrastinating to the sound of 'The Fall Went Right Through Here' by Omnium Gatherum. I've never heard of this band before, so I shall reserve an opinion until I have listened to at least two of their albums several times. :-)

I had NaNoWriMo stuck in my head. So I had to put on Smooth Criminal (Glee again). Just realized it's in repeat though. And I too lazy to change it.
I'm not even writing at this point. ><

I somehow screwed up Pandora Radio, and it's playing dubstep over piano music. It's actually really cool, but I need to figure out how I did it so I can get back to this... ><
