If you've seen this game on other forums, you know the rules. If not, it goes like this.
^ Answer the question posed by the poster above you. > Say something. Anything. About life, the universe, everything. v Ask a question for the next poster. It doesn't have to be about writing.
^ [No question] > Goodness, between trying to liven up this board, and trying to liven up my new site, NaNoPlotMo (which, I guess since it first came online two days ago, is even deader than this!), I've barely gotten any writing done! v Plotter or pantser?

^ Yes.
> I love answering 'yes' to questions where people expect an 'either-or' answer. To elaborate - I mostly call myself a pantser, but I have been known to plan when the situation calls for it.
v Do you have annoying habits when answering questions?

^ Yes. > XD Yeah, you can't really categorize. I am really an...iterative pantser of plans. v What is your favorite writing food?

^ Anything! I love food. During this years NaNo, though, it was potato chips and crackers. > And when I say crackers, I mean a sleeve. Or two. Per day. Have I mentioned I *love* food? v Any strange writing habits you care to share, next poster?

^ I don't really have any strange habits, per se...I just have strange OCD quirks, like always using more words rather than less (NaNo habit!), and especially this: once I finally check my word count, if it's 300 words or less away from the nearest :500 or :000 mark, I have to continue writing until I hit that mark, no matter how late it is or how tired I am. The worst is when I check my word count, and find I'm safe, but then I still have a little more to add, so I type some more, and then find that now I have to add more. > Write now, right now? Hmm. I have a guilt block. Hmm. So it transpires that I am not getting anything done. For someone who still has 42k to write, and 28.75 hours to do it in, I sure am relaxed! Oh well, I am going to turn on some comfort music (...death metal XD) and pound some keys. v What is your favorite writing music?

|
Post by lionhuntermo on Feb 28, 2012 21:11:38 GMT -5
^ Dubstep. Can't listen to words when I'm typing, which leaves dubstep and piano music. And since piano music puts me to sleep... > Finally finished all my homework (or most of), all settled in to write... And I'm here. And my notebook is waaaayy over... somewhere. >< v Your favorite character in you novel/story/project/mess/thing?

^ I don't have any one favorite out of all my projects. From my current one, I'd have to say that my favorite would be either Jonas van Drachenmire, my vampire, or James Dearhart, my vampire hunter. I have yet to nail down who they are fully. > I am in no mood to write right now. There's no point. I've hit my 50k roadblock, and I must resign myself to a long, boring scene-splitting, document-moving, copy-pasting session, as I set up my project for Snowflake. I'm not looking forward to it. =( Also, I must be the only socially inept person on the planet who has no clue what dubstep is. Ha, trust me never to know my pop culture references. XD v What is your favorite time of day (or night) to write, when you get your best results?

^ Anywhere from 10 - 2 (either 10pm - 1am or 10am - 1 pm). Strange - but it all depends on my sleeping habits that week. > I need more water. I'd rather have Orange Juice, though. Not the concentrate crap. Real OJ. Wonder if we have any? v Anything you have to avoid to write well? (For the vampires out there, I suggest avoiding sunlight...)

^ Avoiding sunlight = done. Well, I am my household's resident vampire - allergic to garlic and onions, prone to a little mild anaemia and really bad at dealing with sunlight. Seriously, though, I must avoid all this experimentation with software. None of it is making me more productive in spite of the many claims that it will.
> There's probably something interesting, witty or otherwise worthy of being typed that should go here.
v Oh, and now I need a question. Here's the most evil question I can think of: what are you writing about this month?
|

Post by marielaurent2223 on Mar 11, 2012 13:17:13 GMT -5
^ I am writing more then one novel this month, so far i am working on two ghost novels, a female vampire novel, a succubus novel, an incubus novel, YA teen novels, Mystery drama novels, Horror crime thriller novels, SciFi novels, A Frankenstein novel, a historical novel and two Gothic novels besides a few others.
> I do keep busy with multitasking a lot this month besides also working on poems and writing exercises.
V Do you work on writing exercises this month?

^Absolutely NOT. I'm just killing the editor and any work. I want this month to be fun. No more stress like the last few months of writing have been.
>Oh. Random. I have piles of laundry (clean!) to fold but hate folding laundry. Anyone want $10? Sad, right?
v What's your most hated chore/task?
|
|
|
Post by marielaurent2223 on Mar 12, 2012 11:08:56 GMT -5
^My most hated chore/task is folding clothes and putting them away or hanging them up.
>Though i do hang them up and put them away to keep my bedroom clean and not dirty.
v what is your favorite TV show this year?

^ Star Trek! I am a sad nerd who had never seen it, because I hate waiting around for things to show on TV, and I am OCD about watching things IN ORDER. XD Recently (a relative term) all the series became available on Netflix Instant streaming, so I just got into watching them. Working my through TOS, and about to start TNG now. :-D Yay! > I HATE laundry and I CANNOT fold things. I wish all clothes were rectangles. v Any TV shows that seem to particularly inspire you?

>Though i watch most of them on TV and the last one on DVD on TV.
v Have you seen the Despicable Me movie?

^ Yes. It's so fluffy I'm gonna die! > I have cake. Your argument is therefore rendered invalid. v What do you do to invoke your Muse, when he/she's skipping out on you?
