I'm lionhuntermo, or Mo, and I need some sort of incentive to actually work on the deserving plot that I have. Hopefully this can be that incentive. Anyway, I'm a sophomore in high school and I have no life outside of writing, so... ><

XD I hope that this month, I can actually finish this draft. I'm also doing PlotMo at the same time, so who knows how that will turn out. XD

I actually already started writing it, just on paper. But I already have a ton of edits to make, so... :S

Yeah, that's good. :-) I'm going into MarchNo with a WIP from this month. Turns out that even though I'm capable of an insane number of words per day, but I do it on one day, and then I'm burnt out for three days afterward, so I never get more than 50k per month done anyway.
...and this time, a lot of it got thrown out because it got obsolete. XD

Hello everyone! I'm from Poland and I have a long history of failing at various wrimos This time I have no specific word limit to reach. Instead, my goal is to complete a script for graphic novel (fantasy/steampunk). Just enough words to fill all the dialog clouds and letter boxes over 46 pages. So, much less words than a proper novel but still quite a lot of precision thinking, plotting, dialog writing etc. A lot of worldbuilding has been already done so now's the time to write it all down and then try to clean the mess somehow So, all fellow MarchNoWriMos: good luck with your projects!

Hey :-)
Oh, totally understand that. =P It's not so many words, but the words have to be chosen carefully, and you have to know your plot down to the last detail. X-( It would drive me crazy! Good luck this March!

Tell me about it! The same thing is happening to my February novel that happens to all my novels at 50k...it's falling apart! The story that I thought I had is just slipping through my fingers. =( It drives me nuts every time! I am not giving up this time, however. I WILL rip it apart, and prize apart every thread in it, without going mad, and at the end, hopefully I will have something that actually resembles an outline! That's basically my March goal. :-)

Polak, there's always Script Frenzy in April. A lot of people write graphic novel scripts during that, so you might get advice and support there. So, this is probably only your second-last chance to save your sanity. But then who needs sanity anyway?

Ohhh, I completely forgot about Script Frenzy! xD Yeah, so do whatever works for you. PlotMo is focused more on plotting whatever, but as Siana said, you'll get better advice related to script writing on Screnzy.

Hi guys! I'm going to be joining you this year as well! Yay Seeing quite some familiar faces over here, but for the new ones I'll introduce myself again: I'm RJA, 24 year old girl from Holland, Europe (since most wrimos are from the USA ). I remember a discussion once, but Holland is NOT part of England ^_^ Well, I'm one of those crazy wrimo's that does a challenge every month of the year. This year is my second WriYe and I've set my year goal on 500k again. This means I'm trying to write at least 50k a month and I'm allowed to fail twice February has been an off month actually. I managed to forgot to write most of it and today I've been quite depressed as I couldn't find the power to start writing those last 10k words I needed to reach my goal -FYI, I've written 25k of those 40k since last saturday- With 1,5 hour of February left I'm considiring to spare my power and simply start fresh after midnight and blast March away with my amazing writingskills! -woot woot- Other than writing I'm in college, majoring in Communication. I like to shop, go out with friends and spend a lot of time with my two lovely ponies <3 I'm a singer in a partyband and make some money as a freelance photographer. Well I'm just a really busy person actually ^_^

Hey! :-) Seriously, people thought that Holland was part of England? That's...that's.... I live in America, but even I know that England is just one country in a whole continent called Europe! But you know what...I'm not surprised. I really am not. And the fact that I am not is...really sad. A lot of people seem to think that Europe = England. XD
I...don't even remember whether I introduced myself properly in this thread. So if I didn't, here it is: I'm Agent Double Oh Zero, or bobo_the_bard (I'm both of those on NaNo :-D). I'm a 24 year old graduate student, and a Software Engineering major. Other than writing, I love sketching, music (metal and classical), and sleeping. XD I'm doing Milwordy this year, although I'm not strictly going for a million words. It's really just an attempt on my part this year to always be part of a wrimo, so that I never have an excuse not to stop writing. I am also doing WriYe, where my goal is just 250k. I know, that's low. =P Theoretically I could reach that amount in just four months, but my real intention is actually to finish something, and not just aimlessly pants useless words. To that end, I'm doing NaNoPlotMo also, in March, so that I can learn to outline. Yeah, I'm a pantser, but I really work best with a detailed, structured outline. Now, I just have to learn how to make one of those! It's something I've never been able to do! Still have 6.5 hours to go here. RJA, looks like you're 6 hours ahead of me. =P
[EDIT:] Sweet Lords of NaNo, I really am completely out of it today. I'm like a zombie. I am SO glad I decided not to take advantage of Leap Day to force myself to write extra. I just jotted down a few ideas I had, and called it quits. Now if only I didn't have that stupid exam today! ;'-(

Wow a million words, I respect that. 500k is doable, but for the double amount I'd really have to step up... 6 hours time difference? Yeah guess that's possible if you're in the most east time zone of America. Haha, ah well, Europe's far away Though when you start on Amsterdam, nobody seems to think it's England. But let's not get me started on that city, I hate it -_-

Well, I'm not really going for a million. This year is just going to be too busy for that, and I can't write when I'm stressed. Yes, I'm in the Eastern time zone, GMT-5 :-D What's wrong with Amsterdam? I've only been there to change planes at an airport. XD

Ah, you can switch to WriYe and set your own goal. I'm going for a 500k. Er - thinks - yeah I'm in +1, so we are able to count hihi
Yuk it's just there to amuse tourist, it's not really Holland, shopping sucks, smells like weed everywhere -excessively-. I'd like people that want to see Holland would just really visit the country and not some place that barely looks like it. Oh and people from Amsterdam suck, they are arrogant and I hate the local soccer club! Haha
